Deeply influenced by the likes of James Brown, Light of the World, Incognito, Average White Band and more recently Airto Moreira, Flora Purim and DJ Snowboy, Manos draws from many corners of the music spectrum. |

Performing live he uses a vast array of percussion instruments; from Cuban Bongos & Congas to eastern Doumbek & Darbuka drums and African hypnotic Djembe to cracking Latin House Timbales. He possesses an innate ability to improvise with every musical genre and adds flavours and textures to whatever is being played. The result is a fusion of rhythmic beauty, performed with incredible passion, superb precision and creative energy. A true performer, that’s driven from the heart with a relentless obsession for shaping rhythms and music. |

Manos has developed a unique style that stems from a wide range of percussion influences such as Giovanni Hildago, undisputedly the most influential and inspiring conguero of today, Miguel Castro, Airto Moreira, Tito Puente and more recently such greats as Master percussionist Robin Jones, whom he also studies with, Gee Bello and Pete Lockett. Room Control Records. His guest appearances continue to expand including Café De Paris, Ministry of Sound, Penge Parties & Kinki Malinki @ Pacha. He has performed Live on Internet & Underground Radio Stations and along side many of the worlds best known DJ’s including Judge Jules, Sister Bliss, Tall Paul, Brandon Block, Jeremy Healy, Soul Avengerz, Hoxton Whores, Alex P, Spoony, Warren Clarke … … the list goes on!
He also collaborates with numerous DJ’s & Producers in the studio, some current projects include: IBP Music with DJ Izzy B, Room Control Records; with artists such as DJ Romain, Knights of the Round Tables, Dave Jones and Mickey Richards plus latest projects for Hilife Records with DJ Device. On the LIVE music circuit Manos performs for a number of different bands. His favourite, named ‘KI’, comprises Izzy B, Daniel Bedingfield’s official tour DJ, and Kelli Leigh, who together bring an eclectic mix of influences and sounds expressing life. In August 2006 ‘KI’ & Manos embarked upon a mini tour of Croatia where they were so well received that a return visit in 2007 has already been confirmed. They have also recently confirmed dates in February 07 for Barcelona and are planning a tour of the UK to showcase their Debut Album, out Nov 2006, which followed the successful release of their single, “Let Me Take u…”. In 2006 Manos also joined ‘Portugirl Beat Company’, an eight piece Latin House band playing original Latin/Brazilian beats as well as some well known House Music covers, such as Masters at Work, Gadjo and Kathy Brown.
